Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Apps Not Working Properly Issue

Most #Samsung #Galaxy #Note4 owners just love installing different apps on the device. With 32GB of internal storage space, a powerful Snapdragon 805 chip, and a massive 5.7 inch display running apps on this phone is such a great experience. The phone itself can handle any app installed on it be it the intensive gaming titles or the various social networking apps. There are however instances when apps don’t work as they are supposed to. This is what we will tackle today as we deal with the Galaxy Note 4 apps not working properly issue.

Note 4 Facebook Clicks Things On Its Own

Problem: Facebook “clicks” things on its own when closing. Sometimes causes a video to start playing with audio moments after locking my phone, sometimes causes articles I didn’t click to be open when I unlock my phone. I don’t think I am clicking accidentally, because it is also sending out occasional friend requests, which would involve more than an errant click as I lock my phone.

Solution: Since this issue occurs only on the Facebook app what you need to do first is to clear the cache and data of the Facebook app from the application manager. Once this is done you will need to log in again to your account. Check if the issue still occurs. If the problem remains then I suggest that you uninstall the Facebook app from your phone then go to the Google Play Store and download the updated version of the app.

Note 4 Ebay App Not Connecting To Wi-Fi Or Mobile Data

Problem: Ebay app unable to find either wifi or mobile networks although strong signal.  Soft reset makes no difference.

Solution: If you other apps can connect to the Internet except for the Ebay app then you need to troubleshoot this app the same way as the problem we addressed above. What you need to do first is to wipe the cache and data of the app from the application manager. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs. If it does then uninstall the app then install an updated version from the Google Play Store.

One other factor that you should look into is that a security app installed in your phone is preventing the Ebay app from going online. If your phone has a security app installed then try to temporarily disable it then check if you still experience the same issue.

Note 4 Gallery App Name Already Exists

Problem: In my gallery,  wanting to sort pictures into folders.  When I select the pictures and when create album,  no matter what name I choose to name it,  it says file folder name alway exists.  It doesn’t.

Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try removing it first then see if you are now able to create an album. If you can create an album then the problem could be caused by some corrupt sectors in the microSD card. If your phone does not have a microSD card installed then try to perform the troubleshooting steps listed below. Move to the next step should the problem still occur.

  • Clear the cache and data of the gallery app.
  • If the Gallery app was recently updated then try uninstalling the update of the app from the application manager.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.

If the above steps fail then you should consider doing a factory reset. Take note that this will delete your phone data so make sure to backup your data first before proceeding with this step.

Note 4 Can’t Upload Photo Or Video

Problem: When I go to upload a picture on Facebook I select the picture, and click done. But nothing comes up. When I go to upload a video on a website it says the memory is to low to continue process. Although I don’t have much memory used on my phone, to my knowledge

Solution: What you need to do first is to check if this issue is caused by problems with the Internet connection. You need to check if this issue occurs when your phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network. You should also check if it occurs when your mobile data connection is used.

Once you have made sure that the problem is not caused by the connection follow the troubleshooting steps listed below. Move to the next step should the problem still occur.

  • Clear the cache and data of the Facebook app.
  • Uninstall the Facebook app then reinstall a fresh version from the Google Play Store.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Note 4 Process System Is Not Responding

Problem: When I remove the stylus, the air command display…but it freezes and the error code appears (process system is not responding) there is no code number……but soon after the phone reboots

Solution: It appears that a glitch in the phone software is causing this problem. I suggest you wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode first. This deletes the temporary data in your device which if corrupt can cause this kind of problem. If you are still facing the same issue then you should backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Note 4 How To Turn Off “Ok Google”

Problem: I turned on the “Ok Google” from any page and now my phone just randomly goes to it without me asking. How do I turn it off? I can’t find the information on Drippler, which is where I initially saw the information. Thanks!

Solution: Just follow the steps listed below to turn off the “Ok Google” feature.

  • Open the phone’s Google app.
  • On the top left corner click on the menu icon. Go to Settings – Voice – Ok Google detection.
  • Uncheck the box that says “From any screen” or “Always on.”

Note 4 Web Page In Recent Apps Can’t Be Deleted

Problem: In my recent apps, is a Web page,  it doesn’t matter how I try to close it down if open up my recent apps again it’s still there. I have tried doing a cache wipe, and it’s still there.

Solution: Try starting your phone in Safe Mode then from here delete the recent apps entries. If the web page does not appear anymore then it could be opening all by itself when the phone is started in normal mode. Since you have already wiped the cache partition of your phone which didn’t resolve the issue I would suggest that you do a factory reset. Take note that this will delete your phone data so make sure to make a backup copy first before doing this step.

Note 4 Flashlight App Not Included In Application Manager

Problem: I have one app that i showing on my home screen but I cannot find in any app list on my phone or in the app store.  That app is a flashlight app.  It doesn’t even open up another page when I click on it. Just turns the light on. Help! I would like to see what permissions it has but cannot find it.

Solution: The app should be available in your application manager. Try searching for the app from the All tab. It’s easy to find if you match the app icon to the icon used in the application manager list of apps.
