Samsung’s #GalaxyNoteEdge is now on offer from eBay for $199.99. This is the #VerizonWireless variant of the device, but unlocked to work with a variety of GSM carriers. The handset was launched alongside the Galaxy Note 4 back in late 2014 and is still supported by Samsung with software updates. So it’s not an old device by any means.
The Galaxy Note Edge was one of its first mainstream devices to pack a curved display. Technically, the Galaxy Round was the first device to show off this technology, but since the handset was limited to South Korea, it doesn’t actually count as mainstream. The Galaxy Note Edge was a test run of sorts for Samsung, with the company following it up with the Galaxy S6 edge a few months later, which turned out to become one of the most popular Samsung smartphones.
The handset comes with a 5.6-inch 2560 x 1600 resolution display, a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 3.7-megapixel front camera, 32GB of storage (expandable), 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat (upgradable to Marshmallow) and a 3,000 mAh battery.
