Customers of the #Verizon #DROIDTurbo2 have waited quite a while to get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. An update was seemingly being sent back in February, but as it turned out, that was merely a soak test.
Some later reports suggested that Verizon would send out the update soon, but that day never came. However, the carrier has now mentioned that the update is ready to be sent out to DROID Turbo 2 smartphones, so one should expect a notification to pop by any day now.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any word from customers as of yet, but it is hoped that Verizon doesn’t leave its users hanging this time around. Since this is a Moto device, customers should expect changes similar to that of the Moto X Pure Edition. This basically means that there will be a relatively stock version of Android with a bunch of Motorola-specific changes on board. Expect to see some Verizon bloatware here since it’s a carrier branded handset.
Are you a DROID Turbo 2 user? Let us know.
