#Sony is now sending out an update to the Xperia Z3+, the #XperiaZ5 and the Z5 Compact. This is a bit of a surprise given that the Japanese manufacturer has already sent out the Marshmallow update to the smartphones a few months ago.
The update changes the build number to 32.1.A.1.185 and most likely contains a handful of bug fixes for the smartphones. Barring this, there’s not much that we can see here, especially since the Android version is unchanged.
It is likely that this is the April Security Update from Sony, although there’s no confirmation of that as of yet. If you’re noticing any new changes with the aforementioned smartphones post the update, make sure you let us know in the comments section below.
Even though Sony’s smartphones don’t sell as much as Samsung or LG offerings, it’s good to see that they are frequently updated. We hope other manufacturers take some inspiration from Sony.
Are you seeing the update on your Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z5 or the Z5 Compact?
