#Alcatel has now released the #POP7LTE smartphone via T-Mobile in the U.S., carrying a price tag of just $130. As you probably guessed by the pricing, this is a budget offering and doesn’t boast of benchmark topping scores under the hood. Even then, the tablet is a very appealing offering for the mobile market, especially given the pricing.
The Alcatel POP 7 LTE is packing a 7-inch 1024 x 600 resolution display, a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor (Qualcomm), a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), 1GB of RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 3,240 mAh battery. As you can see, the key highlight here is the presence of Android 6.0 Marshmallow under the hood.
The device also supports 4G LTE out of the box, so you can stay connected to T-Mobile’s snappy LTE networks while on the go, although using LTE for prolonged intervals might take a heavy toll on the relatively smaller sized battery here. The POP 7 LTE can be bought from the carrier for $5.42/month for a period of 24 months.
