Selfies have become an integral part of the smartphone experience of late. This has been taken to the next level by Chinese manufacturer #Oppo with the release of the #R9 and the #R9Plus. The two devices come with 16-megapixel front facing cameras and an aperture size of f/2.0, which makes it a pretty capable selfie camera.
As for the other features of the two smartphones, the Oppo R9 Plus packs a larger 6-inch 1080p display, while the standard R9 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display on board. There are some other key differences in the hardware, which we’re listing out below.
The Oppo R9 comes with a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 chipset underneath, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 2,850 mAh battery.
The R9 Plus, however, packs the octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of internal storage (expandable), a 16-megapixel rear camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a massive 4,120 mAh battery.
