The #LGG5 is a technically sound smartphone but has somewhat been lost in the crowd when compared to the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 and the #GalaxyS7edge. One of the highlights of the G5 was the modules that were supposed to be sold with the device.
One of them is the CAM Plus, which would instantly turn your device into a full-blown digital camera thanks to onboard hardware controls for zooming and a standalone battery that could keep the accessory going without eating into the phone’s battery.
However, there was some mystery surrounding the pricing of this particular module with LG not providing enough information during the launch. That changes today with B&H Photo Video listing the accessory for just $69.99. This is a pre-order as of now and the device isn’t available for purchase yet. But we’re getting a very good idea of the pricing that LG is looking for and we’re very impressed. One would expect a module such as this to be heavy on the wallets, but that doesn’t appear to be the case here.
It’s not known as to when it will be available for purchase, but since the LG G5 won’t be available until the end of this month, we expect the handset to be available sometime in April.
