The #LG #WatchUrbane is a pretty stunning smartwatch and demands a certain value in the smartwatch industry. But it seems like the device is now officially making way for its newer sibling – the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition. We say this because the original Watch Urbane has been removed from the Google Store, which is a strong indicator of the fact that this device will be slowly phased out.
But with that being said, the smartwatch should still be up for grabs from third-party retailers, so this doesn’t necessarily mean that the smartwatch will cease to exist from retailers. However, that day might soon come as well, given that smartwatches don’t really take a long time to go out of rotation.
This comes on the heels of speculation that the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition would eventually make its way to the Google Store. The wearable is being partially announced by the carriers after LG halted its initial rollout citing display related issues. If you’re looking to get a good bargain on the 1st gen Watch Urbane, you can check out this eBay listing.
