The #Android #Marshmallow update should be seeding to the #Samsung #GalaxyNote5 smartphone soon. And as we saw with the update on the #GalaxyS6, the changes are quite identical, barring the S Pen features of course, which haven’t been changed much from Lollipop. It seems like Samsung is continuing to favor brighter colors in its themes, which might adversely impact the battery life on the device.
While the jury is still out on the appearance of this new UI, it can be unanimously agreed that it doesn’t look all that appealing. The update for the Galaxy Note 5 is currently in beta and only select sections are getting it as of now. So there’s still no word on when Samsung will be fully prepared to send out the update to devices.
But given that it’s in a beta, we expect the update to officially start rolling out to the Galaxy Note 5 over the course of the coming weeks. The devices here are running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, so the company is using the most recent build of Android for the update.
