T-Mobile has announced that it has added a total of 2.1 million customers in the fourth quarter of 2015, showing fairly moderate growth in the Holiday season, which is regarded as one of the busiest and most profitable times of the year in the mobile industry. The carrier overall added 8.3 million customers in 2015, which again is quite decent, but nowhere close to reaching #Verizon or AT&T’s figures.
But considering how T-Mobile toppled Sprint to take the third spot in the U.S., we wouldn’t be surprised to see the company make giant leaps in 2016. Although the carrier’s growth has been relatively slow in 2015 (especially compared to the previous year), it will be interesting to see how T-Mobile will go forward in 2016.
With these additions, T-Mobile now has a total of 63 million customers in the mobile industry. The company hasn’t shared details on the forecast for 2016, but we can expect to see a wide range of customer friendly promotions going forward.
