#Samsung is on course to send out the #Android 6.0 #Marshmallow update to its devices. A new leak has now given us a precise timeframe of the update rollout, leaving nothing to speculation. According to this leaked Samsung document, the #GalaxyS6 and the #GalaxyS6edge will receive the update by February or March.
The Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ on the other hand will supposedly get the update by February, so it seems like the company is prioritizing the update for its flagship handset. The Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge are scheduled to get the update by March or April, so there’s not much waiting left to do even for the 2014 Samsung flagships.
Samsung has been left behind by the likes of HTC and LG as far as update rollouts are concerned. The LG G4, the LG V10 as well as the HTC One M8 and the One M9 have seen the Marshmallow update already, so there’s plenty of pressure on Samsung to expedite the update process.
