#AndroidWear receives updates periodically which promise to enhance performance and features. A new report is now suggesting that the latest version of Google’s smartwatch OS is now seeing an update on the #HuaweiWatch. However, it is specified that this is a beta test for now and not a full blown update, so not all users of the Huawei Watch will see the update on their wearables.
The update changes the Android version to 6.0.1, which brings forth a bundle of changes to the fore. First and foremost, it will allow users to place phone calls directly from the wearable and also set a custom ringtone for incoming calls. There appears to be an Audio Feedback feature built in with the update which will read out messages or notifications out aloud to the users.
Users can also expect some battery life related improvements and performance related changes on board the new update. The Android Wear version remains unchanged at version 1.4.
