While #Xiaomi is yet to announce the #Mi5 flagship, the company might release a midrange handset before that. A new handset has been spotted on a benchmark listing, showing what appears to be a midrange hardware.
The listing mentions that the smartphone is packing an octa core Snapdragon 617 chipset, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. There are no details about other hardware aspects of the handset at the moment, but we expect to learn more in that regard over the coming days.
The processor on the smartphone has managed to score 1420 in the single core test and 3420 in the multi core test. While it’s being mentioned that this might well be the Redmi 3, there’s no confirmation on that at the moment. It is quite evident that Xiaomi’s focus is firmly set on the midrange segment at the moment, with the wait for the Mi 5 getting longer for the fans.
Will the Xiaomi Kenzo see the light of the day anytime soon? It surely seems like it.
