S4 Crashes When Opening Google Play Store
Problem: my s4 crashes when i open play store. when i click on the play store button it open a white tab and disappears directly
Solution: This issue could be caused by some form of corrupt data within the app. Go to your phone’s Application Manager then search for the Google Play Store app under the all tab.Clear the cache and data of the app. Check if the app still crashes.
If the problem persists then proceed with wiping the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. This deletes the temporary data stored in your device. Restart your phone then check if you can open the Google Play Store.
If the above troubleshooting steps fail then I suggest you backup your phone data and do a factory reset.
S4 Google Play Music Does Not Close
Problem: Despite wishing to be able to use Google Play Music, time & again, I’ve had to abort (disable the app), as it simply won’t close (without Force Stop), & even then, restarts again without my input. V. aggravating & have failed to find ANY acceptable solution, despite lots of commentary on the iNet – most of which is gibberish! Grateful if you can help this frustrated Google fan, PLEASE. Tks.
Solution: The first thing you should do in this case is to clear the cache and data of the Google Play Music app from your application manager. Once this is done you should check if the issue still occurs. If it does then proceed with wiping the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode then check if the issue still occurs.
You should also check if a third party app is interfering with the way the Play Music app operates. To do this you need to start your phone in Safe Mode. In this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while the apps you downloaded are disabled. Open the Play Music app in this mode then check if you still need to force close it. If the app now works properly then the issue may be caused by a third party app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
You should also try taking out the phone microSD card and check if this is causing the problem.
If the above troubleshooting steps fail then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S4 Can’t Login To Snapchat
Problem: After I installed the snapchat application which took hours, it refused to log in….I have uninstalled and reinstalled…but it keeps verifying the phone without logging in for hours…. This started a month ago…I have done the soft reset severally… Please I miss snapchat…help me out asap.
Solution: You should first uninstall the Snapchat app from your phone. Next, wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. Once this is done reboot your phone then make sure to connect your device to a stable and fast Wi-Fi source. Download Snapchat again from the Google Play Store. Try logging in to your account and if that fails try to create a new account to eliminate any account related issues that may be causing the problem.
S4 Can’t Play Online Games Using Mobile Data Connection
Problem: My samsung galaxy s4 works fine when I have wifi I can play my games just fine but once I turn off wifi and try to use my data it won’t let me play games it says connection failed I have data and I can connect to the Internet Facebook and snapchat just fine. It just won’t let me play games why is this? Is it a setting within the phone or what
Solution: Playing games that require an Internet connection usually requires that the connection be fast and stable. Since you are able to play the games without any issues using a Wi-Fi connection then the problem is most likely caused by a slow mobile data connection. You should check if your phone is using the LTE network and not the 3G network. You should also check if this issue occurs in only one particular area or if it occurs in any area that you go to.
S4 Can’t Install Security App
Problem: Please help me. I Uninstalled CM Security on my Samsung s4 to change to Norton. It Would not install, and now any security app I’ve tried to install on my samsung will not install. Why is this and what can I do to fix it? Thanks for your help and please get back to me ASAP If you can. Thanks so much.
Solution: You may not have uninstalled the app properly. Try to check the application manager of you phone and check if there are still any traces of CM Security app. If you can’t spot any presence of the app then the best thing to do right now is to wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode then check if you can now install a security app.
If the issue still persists then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S4 Facebook Has Stopped Error
Problem: When I try to go into fb, the bar will show but I have a blank page then comes up showing fb has stopped, this has been going on for last 3 days, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my phone, took battery out, now I’m lost, help, plzz.
Solution: Try uninstalling the app again then immediately wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. Restart your phone then download the latest version of the Facebook app from the Google Play Store.
