Samsung Galaxy A9 phablet leaks out with a 4,000 mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy A9

The #Samsung #GalaxyA9 phablet has leaked out before as a bigger version of the Galaxy A8 that was released not too long ago. A newer leak is now reaffirming what we partially knew, while also confirming the existence of a massively sized 4,000 mAh battery onboard.

The device is supposedly packing a 6 inch 1080p display on board, which should put it in the league of the Motorola Nexus 6 (Quad HD display) as well as the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

The Galaxy A9 is also shown to be packing a Snapdragon 620 octa core chipset, a 13-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is unfortunate given that Marshmallow has almost become mainstream by now. Going by the poster, it seems like the Galaxy A9 will be an exclusive to the Chinese markets, at least initially. However, we’re not ruling a global and American release at this point.
