The #LGG5 has already leaked out multiple times before, so we do have a good idea of what to expect from the handset. A new leak is now revealing some physical attributes of the upcoming flagship. This includes the mention of the device probably sporting a non removable battery, which is increasingly becoming the norm among the manufacturers.
The smartphone is also said to be packing a dual camera setup on the back, which could probably allow for depth focusing or perhaps even 3D image rendering. The former has already been worked on by HTC with the One M8 flagship last year, so it won’t exactly be groundbreaking if LG introduces something similar.
The tipster where the leak originates from also mentioned that the LG G5 would pack a 5.3 inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear cameras, an 8-megapixel front facing camera, the octa core Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a heart rate monitor and obviously Android Marshmallow.
It is said that LG will use a pressure sensitive display on board, which is no surprise given how a large number of Android OEMs are expected to embrace the technology next year. Given the work put in by the company for the LG V10, we’re very hopeful of seeing great things with the G5 flagship.
