Quick Charge 2.0 is Qualcomm’s standard for its rapid charging technology. Today, a Quick Charge 2.0 compliant car charger from Aukey is on sale via Amazon for just $19.99. This is significantly cheaper than its pricing elsewhere, which makes this a must have for all Android users who do a lot of charging on their cars.
However, you need to make sure that your phone is Quick Charge compatible (full list here). Most Snapdragon 800 series and 600 series chipsets are compatible, which means this covers a broad spectrum of customers.
This technology basically allows you to charge your devices quicker than usual, similar to what a Turbo Charger does on the wall adapter. However, the fact that this is a car charger means that it’s more convenient for the users, especially when making long distance trips with navigation and location turned on at all times.
Getting into the technical side of things, the Aukey charger comes with two full sized USB ports (12V/1.5A, 9V/2A, 5V/2.4A) so you can charge two devices simultaneously with consistent power output.
