Samsung Galaxy S7 could enable support for microSD card slots

Galaxy S7

According to a new rumor, the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 smartphone will come with support for microSD card slots by default. The company ditched support for external cards with the Galaxy S6 as well as the Galaxy S6 edge handset earlier this year and kept the trend going with the #GalaxyNote5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ a couple of months ago.

However, there has been some amount of public backlash over Samsung’s decision to leave out the feature. So this move makes sense, assuming it’s true. Samsung has always stuck to what the customers want and we hope that the same strategy is followed with the early 2016 flagship.

The report also went on to say that the Galaxy S7 edge will come with more edges/curves this time around, including on the bottom and top bezels, thus making it curvier than the current gen edge models. These are all rumors for the time being and we hope to learn more about Samsung’s upcoming flagship over the coming days.

  1. Honestly could care less about the “curves” as long as it’s not bulky. Now one of the main reasons I did not get the S6 was because of no option for using an SD card, if they give that option with the S7 I’ll gladly get it.

  2. Galaxy S6/S7 curves and edges are so lame. As soon as I put protective case (i.e.; Otter Box) the curves and edges are covered up. The S6 is very disappointing in that if I want ed an iPhone, I would buy an iPhone. Not a look alike wanna be.
