The #Samsung #GalaxyGolden3 smartphone was always said to be on the cards. And now, a new certification listing is giving us an early glimpse of the smartphone, revealing the familiar form factor. Although the Galaxy Golden hasn’t exactly been popular with the masses, Samsung launched a second gen model last year. So the release of a third gen variant is indicative of the fact that Samsung isn’t giving up on the concept yet.
As for the design, the Galaxy Golden 3 comes with a dual display form factor, making it so much more similar to the original Galaxy Golden. The smartphone here is shown to be packing the model number SM-W2016.
The listing also reveals that the handset comes with dual 3.9 inch AMOLED displays sporting a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, making them quite pixel dense. There’s also said to be a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.3 GHz octa core Samsung Exynos chipset, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage on board and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The smartphone also comes with 4G LTE on board, which is a prerequisite for every new device right now.
Given that it’s been spotted on a Chinese certification database, it’s fair to assume that the device will be revealed first in the region. Global availability still remains in doubt.
