Note 4 Google Apps Not Working Properly
Problem: My Google apps are not working properly. Youtube, play store, wallet, all show network connection error while on Verizon network. No problems on wifi. All other apps work properly on network and wifi. I’ve done soft reset, wiped cache. My Google account is all good, why aren’t the apps working properly on cell network?
Solution: Try to check first if an app installed in your phone is causing this issue by starting your phone in Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode see if your Google apps can connect using the Verizon network. If the apps can connect then a third party app installed in your phone may be the causing the problem. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If however the problem still persists even in Safe Mode then this issue is most likely network related. You should contact Verizon regarding this matter.
One last resort that you should consider is a factory reset. Just make sure that if you do this you should back up your phone data first.
Note 4 Google Play Has Stopped
Problem: At this point I can’t get anything. As soon as I start the device, I get the message that google play has stopped. I can’t get to my applications to back off anything. If I try to send feedback I get the form but I can’t type anything. I can’t hit OK to skip it because nothing at all happens. Then I start getting messages that all the google apps (com.google.process.gapps, youtube, google play music, handouts etc have stopped. I have tried a clearing the google play cache, but that didn’t do any good, because as soon as I restarted the errors came up again. At the moment, I assume that I am going to have to do a factory reset, but I want to explore everything else first. By the way, I can’t remember whether I’m on 5.0 or 5.1 and I can’t get to it to even check that.
Solution: You should consider wiping the cache partition of your phone first then check if the problem still occurs. If it does then you need to backup your phone data and do a factory reset.
Note 4 Google Has Stopped Working Try Again Later Error
Problem: Please let me know how should i fix this problem. Day before yesterday i did a master reset with my note 4 everything is ok but when i click on play store or add account it comes with ‘Checking info’ and after that screen appears which ask for add a new account or type your email i tried both options and same loading bar occurs which stays permanently after sometime it says google is not working try again later
Solution: This may be a connection related problem. If your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot then I suggest you try to use a different Wi-Fi connection. If possible you should also connect to your mobile data then check if you can add your Google account to your phone.
Note 4 Popcorn Time App Has Stopped
Problem: when I click on my app “Popcorn time” after a few seconds it will notify me in a small pop up window in the middle of the screen “Popcorn time has stopped”. It has happened to some of my apps also when I clicked them some apps are working just fine
Solution: This may be caused by some corrupt data within the app. Try clearing the cache and data of the Popcorn Time app then check if you are still getting the same error. If the problem persists then uninstall the app then proceed with wiping the cache partition of your phone. Reinstall the app again from the Google Play Store.
Note 4 Not Installing piZap
Problem: Was having trouble wit piZap app crashing while I was making pix. So, I uninstalled piZap and intended to reinstall it. But it says it is installing but never does. Also tapped updates that were ready to be updated but they didn’t update either. Tried turning phone off & took battery out for a while but didn’t help.
Solution: Try checking your Internet connection if it is working fine. If possible, connect to a different Wi-Fi connection then see if the download proceeds.
If the problem is not with the Internet connection then there may be some corrupt data in your phone causing the problem. Try to wipe the cache partition of your phone and see if this resolves the problem.
Note 4 Facebook App Freezes
Problem: When I open facebook app it freezes right off the bat then crashes every time.
Solution: This issue is most likely caused by some corrupt data in the app. Try to clear the cache and data of the Facebook app then check if you still have the same issue. If the problem persists then uninstall Facebook and download a fresh version from the Google Play Store.
