The #Samsung #GalaxyA7 was released earlier this year sporting a very capable hardware specs sheet underneath. The #GalaxyA8 on the other hand was only recently revealed by the company sporting a slightly upgraded hardware. It seems like the successor to the Galaxy A8 is now on the cards with the Galaxy A9 (SM-A9000) leaking out on AnTuTu benchmarks earlier today.
The device is shown to be carrying a hardware quite similar to the Galaxy A7, but with an upgraded Snapdragon 620 octa core chipset on board. The display is shown to be 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, so Samsung is sticking with a standard Full HD panel here.
Other specs mentioned on the list include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage as well as Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The camera specs of the smartphone were not revealed by this leak.
It will be interesting to see if the Galaxy A9 will break cover sometime soon, especially since the Galaxy A8 with a slightly larger display was released recently.
