With the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 expected to be announced by January or February next year, there’s already talk among people in the tech industry about what it could bring to the table. A new report by a Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang talks about how the smartphone could be 10% cheaper than the predecessor, the Galaxy S6.
This is by no means confirmed info at this point, so we suggest you take it with a large dosage of salt. That being said, the Galaxy S6 did receive some flak initially for its exorbitant pricing, but Samsung was quick to react to the situation accordingly. If the company prices the Galaxy S7 attractively right of the bat, it could have a positive impact on the device in the long run.
It is being rumored that Samsung will use a Snapdragon 820 SoC for the smartphone, while there’s talk of some models using the Exynos chipset as well. All in all, the Galaxy S7 is shaping up to be quite the flagship, which is quite essential given that it has to go up against the likes of the Apple iPhone 6s and other competitive offerings in the market.
