The #Huawei #Nexus6P smartphone has been part of rigorous bend tests over the past week or so. It was originally started off by one user named JerryRigEverything on YouTube, who showed how the handset could be easily scratched while also revealing how easy it was to crack or bend. However, many users criticized this test claiming that the smartphone had already been put through strenuous tests before snapping into half.
But in this new video, the same uploader takes out the Nexus 6P right out of the retail packaging and manages to snap the device into two just as easily, thus revealing that the build quality of the Nexus 6P was flimsy all along. It is said that the metal frame that is connected to the chassis inside is to be blamed for the sub par build quality of the device. Huawei is yet to officially comment on the matter.
It is said however that taking proper care of the smartphone shouldn’t raise any bending related complaints. So if you’ve got yourself a Nexus 6P recently or are planning to get one, make sure you also invest in a case or a cover to avoid any such issues.
