LG G4 getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in South Korea

LG G4

We recently saw the #Android 6.0 update for the #LGG4 being halted by the company, but a new revelation has found that the update is now seeding to the South Korean models of the device. This tells us that a global rollout is imminent, although LG is yet to confirm this at the moment.

The LG G4 is the company’s most recent flagship and as such is the first to be updated with the latest software. However, the Korean manufacturer is said to have stumbled across some last minute hurdles effectively forcing them to halt the rollout of the coveted Marshmallow update.

The company has historically been the first to send out updates to its smartphones as we saw last year with the LG G3 and Android 5.0 Lollipop. So it’s good to see that the company is following the same policy for its 2015 flagship as well.

If you own an unlocked international version of the LG G4, you should probably be high up on the list to receive the update.
