The #BlackBerryPriv smartphone has just launched via AT&T over the weekend, but there was still some uncertainty 0ver whether the device supports wireless charging by default. A new report has now quelled all fears of the customers as the smartphone is confirmed to be packing the feature, meaning it will be compatible will all standard Qi wireless charging stations.
This comes after several reports suggested that the smartphone didn’t support wireless charging out of the box as some users didn’t have luck with their charging stations. However, a renowned site has now managed to confirm that a unit which was purchased directly from AT&T does indeed support wireless charging, meaning customers in the U.S. have nothing to worry about if they’re planning to get the device via AT&T.
In addition to AT&T, Verizon Wireless has also expressed interest in launching the BlackBerry Priv, so we have that to look forward to over the coming months. Are you a fan of BlackBerry’s latest offering? Sound off in the comments below.
