#Verizon and #Motorola are expected to announce the #DROIDTurbo2 smartphone on the 27th of October as we’re well aware at this point. Verizon Wireless has now given us our very first (official) glimpse of the smartphone through a video posted on social media site Twitter.
In the video, Verizon discusses the “shatterproof” nature of the smartphone, which is something that the previous leaks had talked about as well. The company is also expected to release the DROID Maxx 2 smartphone at the same event, which is a rebranded version of the Moto X Play that is currently selling outside the U.S.

The hardware specifications of the DROID Turbo 2 is still somewhat a mystery, although we can tell that durability is going to be one of the key highlights of the device. It has been rumored that the optional Moto Maker customization will be available with the smartphone, letting customers pick the right shade of the smartphone.
