The #Samsung #GalaxyOn5 and the #GalaxyOn7 smartphones have just been unveiled by the Korean manufacturer for the Chinese markets. These are budget ranged offerings and will most likely remain exclusives to the region. This also means that the customers won’t have to dig too deep into their wallets to purchase either of the two handsets.
Despite featuring an identical design, the two smartphones are quite different from each other and come with a variety of changes underneath. The Galaxy On5 has a 5 inch 720p display, the quad core 1.3 GHz Exynos 3475 SoC, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 2,600 mAh battery.
The Galaxy On7 comes with a larger 5.5 inch display, but retains the 720p display resolution. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, the quad core 1.3 GHz Exynos 3475 SoC, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery on board.
The Galaxy On7 has been priced at 1,270 CNY ($200) while the Galaxy On5 will cost 950 CNY ($150), which is relatively reasonable considering the hardware specs on board.
