The #Samsung #GearS2 smartwatch can be purchased in the U.S. starting today, as most of us know already. And right on cue, Amazon and Best Buy have listed the smartwatch on their respective sites, letting users get the device right away. Samsung is only offering the Gear S2 now, with the #GearS2Classic yet to arrive.
Users are limited to getting the WiFi model here with the 4G LTE model set to be available very soon from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. U.S. Cellular will only have the WiFi variant on offer in the near future.
Customers will have to shell out $299.99 for the WiFi only variant, while the 4G LTE model (when available) will cost $349.99. Clearly, this isn’t one of those cheaper smartwatches, but knowing what it brings to the table, customers wouldn’t mind shelling out a little extra.
For those unaware, the Gear S2 is also compatible with a wide range of non-Samsung smartphones, so you can get it even if you don’t have a Samsung handset with you.
