The #Samsung #GalaxyS7 smartphone is rumored to arrive by January or February 2016. A new report has now reaffirmed this and claimed that Samsung will unveil the device by January 19th at the latest. It is said that the design for the device has already been agreed upon and that the manufacturer has already begun production to meet the release date.
It’s not clear if there’s any credence to this report, so we’re taking it with a pinch of salt much like we did with the previous reports. The theory of multiple chipset variants being released has already been discussed.
This new report says that the Galaxy S7 will come in a standard high end model as well as a mid-tier variant. Further, it is being suggested that the high end model will sport a Samsung made silicon while the other variant will probably settle with a Qualcomm or MediaTek made SoC.
Of course, we’ll await further confirmation on this report before jumping to conclusions, but we won’t be surprised if Samsung is seriously considering an early Galaxy S7 launch in order to fight the Apple iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus.
