Earlier today, #OnePlus started teasing the release of the #OnePlusX smartphone. And shortly after, the smartphone managed to make an appearance on Amazon India. This was an accidental listing or perhaps a placeholder for the real thing, which was evident as there was no device image available.
The listing also divulged information on some crucial aspects such as display size, resolution, the processor and even revealed the presence of Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS 3.0. It was also confirmed that the smartphone would feature a 3D Touch like feature on board, thanks to Synaptics’ technology.
The company is using a 5 inch 1080p display with the OnePlus Mini, an octa core MediaTek MT6795 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 2,450 mAh battery. The camera sensors used here remains a mystery at this point, but we expect more word to follow as we lead up to the October 29 event. The handset is expected to be featuring a fingerprint scanner, like its bigger sibling the OnePlus 2.
