The #Motorola #DROIDTurbo2 smartphone was unveiled by Motorola a couple of days ago. And as such, we’ve seen a lot of things being said about the device’s hardware and most importantly the “ShatterShield” display that’s being used. The company has now posted a neat infographic which tells us a few things about why we need such displays on our smartphones.
Owning a ShatterShield smartphone makes all the difference in the world given how many shattered phones we see around us. And knowing how phones with a shattered display usually cost a lot to repair and fix, it’s understandable why a feature like this would be heavily endorsed on a smartphone.
For those unaware, the feature is exclusive to the DROID Turbo 2 on Verizon, but given that Motorola has the technology on offer, we can see the feature being implemented on future devices as well.
Is this feature enough to convince you to purchase the DROID Turbo 2 from Verizon? Sound off in the comments section below. But before that, have a very good look at the infographic below to get a better idea of what ShatterShield means to Motorola.
