#Verizon and #Motorola are expected to be releasing the #DROIDMaxx2 and the #DROIDTurbo2 smartphones at an October 27 event as mentioned yesterday. And just as Motorola brought its stock email app to the Play Store earlier today, the company has accidentally confirmed the existence of the DROID Maxx 2.
In one of the screenshots showing the mail compose window, the signature reads – “Sent from my DROID MAXX 2”, effectively telling us that the company has been tinkering with the smartphone already. This is a very minor slip-up however, but has managed to catch the attention of some keen eyes.
The DROID Maxx 2 is the U.S. variant of the Moto X Play, which is already available on a large scale outside the U.S. Needless to say, this will be an exclusive in the country via Verizon Wireless. The smartphone has leaked out on several occasions before, so we know quite a lot about it already.
Do you think a mistake like this could have been avoided by Motorola, or does it simply not matter since we’re very close to the official unveiling?
