The #OnePlusX smartphone is expected to break cover on the 29th of this month with leaks giving us an early glimpse of the hardware as well. The handset has just made its way to Chinese device certification site TENAA, with the entire hardware specs sheet on offer.
This confirms some of the specs that we didn’t know about, including the camera. It is revealed that the device is sporting a 4.99 inch OLED 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage as well as Android 5.1 Lollipop. Since this is coming directly from the Chinese authorities, we have enough reason to believe that this is the real deal.
The handset will supposedly be priced at 1,399 CNY or $220 when it is launched in global markets. It’s likely that even this handset will be an invite only affair, much like the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus One before that. With two weeks to go for the official release of the device, we expect to stumble across some more details of the handset.
What do you make of the OnePlus X?
