The #Alcatel #FierceXL smartphone has just been announced to be launching via #MetroPCS next week, with T-Mobile slated to get it on its shelves shortly after. The smartphone is a budget offering, so don’t expect a hardware specs sheet to rival the best in the business.
The handset comes with a 5.5 inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 1.1 GHz quad core Snapdragon 210 SoC, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, a 2,500 mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset has been priced at $139 off contract, which is very reasonable given the hardware on offer.
The camera on the handset supposedly has something known as the Polaroid mode which allows customers to add cool looking filters for the camera as well as location, text tags etc. Considering the price being quoted by Alcatel, the Fierce XL should do a decent job of attracting the consumers of its potential.
Although T-Mobile is also expected to carry the smartphone soon, the carrier is yet to offer clarity on when. Do you like what you see from the Alcatel Fierce XL?
