The #Sony #XperiaZ5 was only recently unveiled by the manufacturer, although all the attention was focused on the more powerful #XperiaZ5Premium thanks to its 4K display. However, a new camera test done by DxOMark might shift focus towards the Xperia Z5 yet again.
For those unaware, DxOMark is renowned for its rating of cameras which covers a wide range of factors including low light photography, macro, video capture and so on. The team has now adjudged the Xperia Z5 as the best cameraphone tested so far with a score of 88 and 86 for photos and videos respectively.
The previous best was the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge which managed to score 88 and 84 in the same departments. It is said that Sony’s attention to detail and the quick autofocusing camera won the hearts of the reviewers. The low light photography from the smartphone was praised as well.
It is to be seen if this mark of approval will be enough to sway consumers towards Sony’s latest offering. The Xperia Z5 comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a 23-megapixel camera on the back, a 5.1-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 32GB of internal storage (expandable), 3GB of RAM, a 2,900 mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
