Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE now getting the Android 5.1.1 update

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2

#Samsung has just begun sending out the Android 5.1.1 update to the #GalaxyTabPro 12.2 LTE, after months of waiting. The tablet was released only a year ago, so there was no real reason for it to fall behind on Samsung’s update schedule. It is making the jump from Android 4.4.2 KitKat directly and the users will see a plethora of new changes on board.

This will probably include a bundle of the new TouchWiz features that we see on the current crop of Galaxy Tab devices, which gives us more reasons to be excited. The tablet was targeted to be a productivity based device but hasn’t quite seen the success that Samsung had hoped for.

However, there are still quite a few users of the device out there who will be finally relieved to know that Samsung hasn’t forgotten about the device. Since this is a flagship product, most users have paid a significant amount of money to get it, so it’s good to see that their faith in the company is being reinstated this way.

Do you own the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE?
