We’ve been hearing bits and pieces about the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 over the past couple of weeks, with the most recent report suggesting that the company could be looking to use Qualcomm’s #Snapdragon820 SoC underneath. An even newer report is now telling us that Samsung will release the Galaxy S7 next year with a microSD card slot underneath, which was missing from this year’s Galaxy flagships.
However, the report mentions that Samsung will stick with the non-removable battery and back cover, while also using the same unibody construction. If true, this will be a welcome addition to the company’s early 2016 flagship and will be lauded by the fans. The industry has simply moved on from removable batteries, so we’re not surprised that the company will make it non-removable again.
We’re still some distance away from the release of the Galaxy S7, so a lot could change by then. What are your expectations from the upcoming Samsung flagship? Sound off below.
