Huawei’s #Nexus6P smartphone has just leaked out in a press render, revealing the front as well as the back panel in the process. This is a high resolution rendering that will probably make its way to marketing materials over the coming weeks, so it’s probably the best look we can get of the smartphone right now.
The front appears very identical to the Nexus 6 including the stereo speaker grills on the front and bottom bezel respectively. The camera sensor is surrounded by a slightly elevated black colored surface, which we hope has some functionality to it, because it’s frankly not all that appealing from a design standpoint.
As we all know by now, the Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X will be announced during a dedicated Google event next week on the 29th of September. The Nexus 5X has already leaked out on multiple occasions, so its feature set is well known to us.
As for the Huawei Nexus smartphone, it has been said that the handset will pack a 5.7 inch QHD display panel, an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 5X is supposed to be a relatively cheaper variant with a slightly toned down hardware specs sheet as well.
