#AppleMusic is currently limited to iOS devices for now (in addition to computers running iTunes, of course). However, the company has already promised to release an #Android app this fall, so customers who signed up for the three month free trial need not be disheartened. It seems like the launch of this app is not far away as a site named Betabound is apparently sending out beta testing invites to customers for Apple Music on Android.
This means that some lucky users might get the chance to try out Apple Music on Android before anyone else. As for functionality, Apple Music shouldn’t bring anything new to the table that the likes of Google Play Music and Spotify currently offer.
Apple’s willingness to release an Android app is considered to be indicative of the company’s mellowing stance against Android, which has long been its rival in the mobile industry. Google on the other hand has listed all its popular apps (Maps, Play Music, Hangouts) listed on the iTunes App Store.
Have you tried Apple Music yet?
