HTC as we very well know is struggling to keep up with the highly competitive Android market segment. A new revelation tells us that the company could be looking to change that to some extent by releasing a flagship meant for the largest carrier in the U.S., Verizon.
A new device has been spotted at the FCC, with clear markings telling us that it will be unveiled via the carrier soon. There isn’t a lot of information on the handset itself, so all we know at this point is that this is a Verizon bound device set for an unveiling soon.
The handset is shown to be carrying the model number 0PM9310, which doesn’t tell us anything about the device. In any case, this could very likely be a midrange offering headed to Verizon’s shelves over the coming days, so the mystery might not stay for long.
The smartphone supports LTE bands 5, 7, 2, 4, and 13, indicating that Verizon’s LTE frequencies will be supported out of the box.
