The ZenFone Max smartphone from ASUS has just been revealed earlier today, sporting a mammoth 5,000 mAH battery pack underneath. Needless to say, this is the key selling point for this handset.
Apart from the gargantuan battery, the ASUS ZenFone Max also comes with a 5.5 inch 720p display panel, a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop. Naturally, the handset also supports 4G LTE out of the box.
ASUS has been relatively quiet about the arrival of the handset in the North American markets, but expect more word to follow in the coming days.
The company also released the ZenFone 2 Laser and the ZenFone 2 Deluxe in India, but no word has been offered on a wider release of the handset, much like the ZenFone Max.
Would you fancy something like the ZenFone Max given the amount of usage modern smartphones see? Sound off below.
