With the release of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 looming, it was expected of Samsung to slash the prices of its existing Galaxy S6 flagships. Heading over to T-Mobile’s site confirms this as the 32GB, 64GB and the 128GB models have all received significant price cuts.
While the 32 and 64GB models have seen a reduction in pricing by $100, the 128GB model is now $200 cheaper from the Magenta carrier. This brings the pricing of the 32GB version to just $579.99 while both the 64 and 128GB models have been priced at $659.99, which doesn’t make much sense, but it seems like Samsung is keen on selling more units of the 128GB models.
The Galaxy S6 edge can be bought for $679.99 if you’re looking for the 32GB model or $759.99 for the 64 and 128GB models. While we’re yet to see price cuts from other carriers, we should expect to see more retailers follow suit. The 32 and 128GB models are available for a steal here, while getting the 64GB model doesn’t quite make sense. Do you agree?
