Sprint Launching New Open World International Add-On

In news that’s sure to make international travelers very happy, Sprint is launching a new Open World international add-on. With it, customers will experience much more from their service when abroad.

With this add-on, Sprint customers will be able to travel to select countries and get free unlimited calls, free unlimited texts, and 1 GB of high-speed data. The included countries are as follows:

  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • Dominican Republic
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Costa Rica
  • El Salvador
  • Guatemala
  • Honduras
  • Mexico
  • Nicaragua
  • Panama
  • Paraguay

In other select countries, you will receive free unlimited texting, but for calling, will be billed at 20¢/min and data will be billed at $30 per 1 GB. Those countries are:

  • Australia
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Israel
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • New Zealand
  • Palestinian territories
  • Russia
  • South Korea
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • United Kingdom

This is on top of Sprint’s already existing “Global Roaming” free add-on, which offers customers calls at 20¢ per minute, free unlimited texting, and unlimited data at 2G speeds. That is available in the following countries, as a reminder:
