With Samsung expected to show off the Galaxy S6 edge+ in roughly two days from now, a new leak is giving us a very good idea of what to expect from the ‘edge’ of the smartphone.
The leak tells us that Samsung has upgraded the ‘People Edge’ section on the smartphone, which will now give you five options when you tap on a contact. These five options include making a call, sending a message, sending an email, a picture or an emoticon. In its current form, Samsung’s People Edge section only offers the ability to place calls, send messages and emails.
This feature can be supported by the Galaxy S6 edge+ thanks to the significantly larger 5.5 inch display panel, while the Galaxy S6 edge only has a 5.1 inch display which can’t carry all the information. This is just one aspect of the edge that we’re hearing about right now, but we’re sure there will be more during the company’s official unveiling this Thursday.
