#Lenovo backed #ZUK Z1 smartphone was officially announced last week in China carrying a massive 4,100 mAh battery and some other impressive hardware on board. The company has now mentioned that the handset will be released in international markets starting tomorrow, i.e. August 21.
And to make it more appealing to the global customers, the company will supposedly bundle it with Cyanogen OS 12.1, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The current version of the ZUK Z1 is an exclusive to China and runs a custom OS meant specifically for the region, but the use of Cyanogen OS on the international version will certainly appeal to a wide range of customers.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type C port and a 4,100 mAh battery. Sure, the chipset underneath isn’t exactly the fastest in the market, but we’re guessing the company will make up for it with the price tag.
