The 2nd gen #Moto360 smartwatch is expected to arrive at the IFA 2015 event next month. We’ve already had a couple of sightings of the wearable before, but today we’re seeing the wearable being displayed by none other than the senior VP of #Lenovo, Chen Xudong.
It’s not a secret that being the parent company of #Motorola, Lenovo has early access to some of its devices, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to us. Another image of the smartwatch gives us an even closer look of the device, while not revealing much.
We know what you’re thinking. Doesn’t this smartwatch look very similar to the original Moto 360? Well, it does at first. But when you look closely, you will find that the wearable has a crown/power button located slightly above the first generation model, which is said to be a distinguishing factor in terms of design. In its current form, the crown on the Moto 360 is facing the 3 o’clock position on the clock.
The design change is something that previous leaks have alluded to, so this does appear to be a legitimate leak. It’s not known if the executive was deliberately showing off the wearable or if it was simply a bad judgment call. In any case, this leak is certainly going to grab some eyeballs.
