  • When connected, tap the three dots   > Add call, and then dial the number of the second participant. The first participant is put on hold.
  • When connected to the second participant, tap the up arrow symbol.
  • To add another participant, tap the phone with a plus sign symbol , and then dial the number of the contact.
  • When connected, tap the up arrow symbol  to add the participant to the conference call. Tap the three dots  to access options such as ending the call with a participant.
  • To end the conference call, tap End Call.

M8 Loses Bluetooth Connection During Calls

Problem: I consistently lose the Bluetooth connection during calls.

Solution: Are you using a Bluetooth headset when you make calls? Try making the calls while on Safe Mode and see if the issue still occurs.

  • Press and hold the Power key.
  • On the screen, touch and hold Power off under Phone Options.
  • When the ‘Reboot to safe mode’ message appears, tap RESTART.
  • When the phone restarts it will be in safe mode.

If the Bluetooth does not disconnect then the problem may be caused by a third party app installed in your phone. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

If  however the problem still occurs try to use another Bluetooth headset. This way you can check if the issue is with the current Bluetooth headset you are using or the phone itself.

If the problem is phone related then I suggest you backup your phone data and do a factory reset.

  • Press and hold the Power button
  • Tap Power off.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down key.

  • Press the Power key to perform the master reset.

M8 Call Sounds Faded

Problem: Hey, I’m having issues when I call out to anybody. The other people  on the other line say that I sound faded even when I yell. I never dropped my phone nor had liquid spill on it. Can you help me out because it’s causing me to miss out on some very important calls.

Solution: Try checking if this occurs in a particular area. If it does then this may be a network related issue, most probably the issue occurs when you are getting a weak signal.

If this issue anywhere you may be then try to check if the microphone of your phone has a problem. To do this you should use the voice recorder app and record a short voice clip. Playback the recorded file and check if you can hear your voice. If you can barely hear you voice then the microphone may have a problem. Bring your phone to an authorized service center for checking.

If however you can hear your voice just fine then this may just be caused by a glitch in the phone software.

Try to wipe the cache partition of your phone and see if this resolves the issue.

  • Turn off the device.

  • Press the Down Volume key three times to select Wipe cache partition.
  • Press the Power key to initiate the wipe.
  • Wait until the phone displays Cache wipe complete.
  • Press the Power key to select Reboot system now.

If the problem persists then it’s best to do a factory reset to eliminate any software related issues. Make sure that you backup your phone data first before proceeding.

  • Press and hold the Power button
  • Tap Power off.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down key.
  • Press and release the Power key to turn the phone on.
