The #OnePlusOne receives updates directly from #Cyanogen. The company started sending out the Android 5.1.1 toting Cyanogen OS 12.1 update to the smartphone earlier today. However, it is now being reported that the update rollout is being halted with only about 2% of the devices getting the update. This means that there are still quite a few users out there who haven’t received it yet, which might not necessarily be a bad thing.
The update was probably stopped due to a glitch or a bug that was spotted a little too late. For those who have already installed the update, rest assured knowing that a fix is on its way. We’re not given a reason for this as of yet, but we hope to get some word from Cyanogen on the matter. With Cyanogen OS 12.2, users can expect to see changes similar to Cyanogen OS 12, but with a couple of nifty additions.
You’re not going to see a lot of change in terms of the user interface though, knowing that this is just an incremental update from Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Update: Cyanogen has brought back the update again and has posted links for users to manually download it on their OnePlus One. Grab the necessary download links below, but make sure you’re fully aware of the procedure to install a new ROM before going ahead with the process. If you’re in doubt, we recommend you wait for the OTA update.
