Amazon’s #FirePhone has been far from successful as we all know, but the company still hung around with the device with the hopes of a late success. The time has come and gone, but the smartphone didn’t see any success, not to the extent that the retailer had hoped for at least. And it seems like the company is simply trying to clear out the stocks now, going by the new price reduction it has received.
The Fire Phone can now be purchased for a meager $130 from Amazon, which includes 1-year of Prime subscription service. Knowing that Amazon Prime usually costs $99, customers are essentially getting the device for as little as $31, which is quite remarkable and speaks volumes about the desperation of the company to clear out inventory.
On paper, the Fire Phone is a decent smartphone and well worth your $130. It features a 4.7 inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 2,400 mAh battery with Fire OS based on an unknown build of Android.
