The 2015 Nexus lineup could be very interesting for the fans going by what we’ve heard in the leaks. A new leak from a reputed source is now giving us our very first look of what could well be the LG’s upcoming Nexus handset.
Although this isn’t coming directly from LG, it doesn’t indicate what the company has in mind for the handset. We’re seeing a set of stereo speakers on the front here, which has an uncanny resemblance to a Motorola device. Also on board is the USB Type C port, which should be a standard on upcoming handsets.
And not surprisingly, the handset seems to be packing a fingerprint scanner on the back. This is something that early accessory leaks indicated as well, so it adds up well. We’re also seeing the addition of a Laser Autofocus sensor on the back, which makes sense given that it’s used on devices like the LG G3 and the G4.
The display here is said to be 5.2 inches with no detailed word on the resolution as of yet. To please the phablet lovers, Google will have a larger Nexus device with a 5.7 inch display, made by Chinese manufacturer Huawei. Given the sort of leaks we’re seeing, we should expect to get more word from Google on the two devices over the coming weeks.
